Recruitment refers to the process of attracting, screening, and selecting qualified people. We help you buy cutting edge skills by reviewing your hiring practices as well as sourcing candidates to fill positions.
Our process is as follows:
- Job analysis – the proper start to a recruitment effort is to document the actual or intended requirements of the tasks and roles by defining expected outcomes.
- Job design – review and update old job descriptions to new format of job design, a more holistic approach to reflect present day requirements clarifying goals, responsibilities, roles and functions.
- Sourcing - begins with advertising, doing a database search, and research proactively to identify talent who may not respond to ads (name generation), solicit interest and obtain a cv.
- Screening and selection – profiling begins by assessing suitability:
- Screening CV for skills – functional, transactional and management – qualifications and professional experience, length of service,
- Interviewing – assessing attitude and prior experience
- Assessments – in-house or third party tests – computer skills, numeracy, language, psychological and psychometric testing
- Supporting activities – testimony of references, qualification verification, licences validations, police clearance, credit checks.
- Closing – trust is the basis on any relationship but even more so when it comes to employment, therefore the method of presenting the offer and negotiating the terms of the employment contract lay the foundations for aligning employer-employee expectations
- Onboarding - the introduction or induction process which helps to protect new hires and allows new employees to become fully operational quickly
Our Fees are structured as follows:
- Contingency – a percentage charged on a sliding scale on annual package only if and when a candidate commences employment – all other recruitment services are free
- Search Assignment – a percentage is charged irrespective whether a candidate is appointed or not – a third is paid up front – a third with the first interview and the final thought on commencement of employment
- Recruitment adverting – a fixed amount is paid for drafting the strategy and screening the cvs. All costs of advertising are handled by the client.
